Skoda Octavia 2021 review
Skoda India has revealed the specifications and feature list of the fourth-gen Octavia. It will be offered in two variants Style and Laurin & Klement. Customers can choose from five exterior colour options: Brilliant Silver, Maple Brown, Candy White, Lava Blue, and Magic Black. The sedan will be offered only with a turbo-petrol powertrain, coupled with an automatic transmission.
Features
The fourth-gen Octavia will pack features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, a 12-speaker Canton audio system, a digital driver’s display, wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, cruise control, dual-zone climate control, and a powered tailgate. Safety will be covered by up to eight airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, front and rear parking sensors with a parking camera.
Performance
Skoda will offer the Octavia with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that develops 190PS/320Nm. It will get a sole 7-speed DSG. A smaller 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine could be offered at a later stage. The new Octavia will be a petrol-only offering.
