Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 review
Samsung has introduced its Galaxy Tab S7 with a range of features that might manage to draw buyers. The tablet comes with a 11-inch LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Galaxy Tab S7 is driven by Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon 865+ chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Under the hood, the tablet is backed by a big 8,000mAh battery.
Display and Design
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 comes fitted with a big 11-inches LTPS IPS LCD display. The LTPS display which is the Low-Temperature PolySilicon (LTPS) LCD screen helps provide larger pixel densities, lower power consumption than standard LCD and controlled temperature ranges. The resolution of the panel is Full HD+(1600×2560) with a pixel density of 274PPI. Based on the configuration, the display is expected to produce detailed visuals, but under daylight, buyers may struggle with the visuals. Also, the display is HDR10+ that makes colors and images vibrant while watching. And. with a refresh rate 120Hz the graphics on the display feels smooth.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is solidly built and has a slim aluminum side frame with an aluminum back panel. The tab stands at a height of 253mm and has a slim 6.3mm body. Also, the tab tips the bar at 498grams which might feel a bit heavier if you hold it for a long time, the weight is reasonable though. Like most of the flagship-grade devices, the Galaxy Tab S7 lacks a headphone jack. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is available in three different colors Mystic Black, Mystic Bronze, Mystic Silver. For unlocking the tab, you get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has a 13MP dual-rear camera set up. The main camera 13MP(f/2.0, 26mm (wide) is followed by a 5MP ultra-wide camera. The front side of the tablet houses an 8MP camera for capturing selfies and video calls. As far as the video recording is concerned, you can record FHD 1080p videos at 30fps using the rear cameras of the tab. The camera app has features such as Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus for results in better imaging.
Performance
Galaxy Tab S7 runs on the Android 10 based Samsung’s OneUI 2.5 interface of Samsung. The Tab is powered by a 7nm+ processed Qualcomm’s premium Snapdragon865+ chipset with 8-performance cores. For the background tasks and multitasking activities, the Tab depends on 6GB of RAM. For handling the graphic performance of high-end games and demanding applications the tab houses Adreno 650GPU. User-friendly sensors like Light sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope are present. Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 has ample 128GB of onboard storage capacity. This adds to satisfy buyers who expect more internal storage. Also, the tab has an extra card slot for expanding the storage capacity.
Battery
Galaxy Tab S7 has an 8,000mAh battery that supports a 45W fast charger out of the box. Deciding upon the battery size, you may expect a day of power backup from the tab under average usage.
