Realme 8 5G review
Realme 8 5G brings a 90Hz 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 16-MP punch-hole camera. A 48MP triple rear camera unit is placed on a rectangular bump with an LED flash on the rear side. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage.
Display
Realme 8 5G comes fitted with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with a punch-hole notch at the top-left corner. You can watch clear and detailed visuals on this Full HD 1080x2400px display that amounts to a pixel density of 405 PPI. Moreover, it has an aspect ratio of 20:9, and more than 90% of the screen-to-body ratio ensures better viewing.
Performance
Realme 8 5G is powered by a 5G-enabled MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor embedded on a 7nm chipset. The phone runs on the Android 11 operating system based on Realme UI on top. Adding more, it offers 4GB of RAM to boost multitasking performance and the graphic requirements are handled by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. Judging upon its details, you can expect a decent day-to-day performance, and also demanding games like Asphalt Racing, Call of Duty, Vector, etc can be run on default graphic settings.
Camera
The smartphone features a 48MP triple rear camera on a rectangular bump with a dedicated LED flash.
