OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition review
OnePlus revealed the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition with a redesigned back panel that sports Cyberpunk branding with a massive glass camera island. The smartphone looks different from the standard version. Besides the looks, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk edition has matching specs as of if its sibling OnePlus 8T. The smartphone is backed by a premium Snapdragon 865 chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB UFS3.1 storage. On the optics side, it has a 48MP quad-rear camera and a 16MP selfie camera.
Display
OnePlus 8T CyberPunk Edition 2077 brings a 6.5-inch color fluid AMOLED display with a punch-hole notch. The panel has a protective layer of Gorilla Glass5. It employs a fullHD+(1080x2400px) resolution display with a pixel density of 402PPI that offers sharp and clear visuals. Also, the display refreshes at 120Hz that offers a smooth touching sense. With an aspect ratio of 20:9, you get a fair display size to treat your eyes. For biometrics, it features an in-display fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
Performance
OnePlus 8T CyberPunk 2077 Edition is backed by Qualcomm’s premium 5G powered Snapdragon 865 SoC. This is a 7nm+ processed chipset with 8-performance cores that clocks at 3.09GHz. It runs on Android 11 with custom UI Oxygen OS11 on top of it. The background activities are handled by 8GB of RAM while the Adreno 650 GPU takes care of its graphic demands. The chipset offers desktop-level gaming which could be a huge advantage for gamers who prefer intense gaming. Also, the Adreno 650 GPU delivers up to a 25% performance boost from its predecessor. The smartphone has inbuilt sensors like Compass, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Light Sensor, and Proximity.
Camera
OnePlus 8T CyberPunk Edition comes with quad-rear cameras backed by dual-LED flash. The primary 48MP camera with an aperture f/1.7 is followed by a 16MP ultra-wide camera, a 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor with autofocus. High-quality camera performance is expected from the phone. Also, you may shot different types of pictures with the various camera sensors it offers. As far as the recording is concerned, the rear camera can shoot UHD 4K videos @30fps which could benefit online video creators. For selfies and video calls, a 16MP front camera with aperture f/2.4 is there.
