Design
Discovery a lower, wider stance. From the new headlights and rear lights, to the refined front grille and new bumpers. The enhanced visual harmony of the rear end and new 50.80 cm (20) wheel design elevate the vehicle’s contemporary appeal. Newly sculpted lights with a distinctive signature graphic and Matrix LED headlight technology to maximise visibility.
Performance
The 2021 is powered by three engines: a 300PS/400Nm 2.0-litre petrol (P300), a 360PS/500Nm 3.0-litre petrol (P360), and a 300PS/650Nm 3.0-litre diesel unit (D300). Apart from the 2.0-litre petrol, the rest two are equipped with mild-hybrid tech. All engines come specced with a standard 8-speed automatic transmission. In terms of performance, the SUV is capable of doing a 0-100kmph sprint within 7.7 seconds (P300), 6.8 seconds (P360), and 6.9 seconds (D300). The Discovery is 4956mm long, 2220mm wide, 1888mm tall and sits on a 2923mm wheelbase.
Features
The Land Rover Discovery comes loaded with features such as a new 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, over-the-air (OTA) updates functionality, Meridian sound system, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, cruise control, touch-based four-zone climate control, PM 2.5 AC filter, a wireless phone charger, powered front seats, and a key with touch-based controls. Safety is covered with multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control.
