Jawa 42 review
Jawa has announced a new offer called Golden Scheme under which customers purchasing the Jawa 42 this month can get a pair of bar-end mirrors and alloy wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres.
Design
The Jawa 42 is the most affordable one. It sports a round headlight, curvy body panels, bar-end mirrors, spoked wheels, and an over-all retro design. There are chrome bits present on the front fork, engine casing, exhaust and the rear shocks.
Performance
Powering the Jawa 42 is a liquid-cooled, 293cc engine that generates 26.51PS of power and 27.05Nm of torque. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Braking on the Jawa 42 is done by 280mm front disc and 153mm drum at the rear, and an optional 240mm rear disc. Single-channel ABS comes standard. The bike is sprung on a telescopic fork and twin-gas charged rear shocks.
Features
Jawa has kept a minimal approach. It has equipped the 42 with an analogue speedometer, fuel guage, and a small digital patch for the odometer readings while skipping the gear indicator and tachometer. Even the headlight and indicators use bulbs to keep the retro appeal flowing.
Jawa 42 Price: The new Jawa 42 is expected to be priced between Rs 1.68- 1.83 lakhs
