Infinix Hot 10 review
Infinix Hot 10 is an affordable Android 10 smartphone under the Hot-10 series. The phone brings a 6.7-inch HD+ panel with a punch hole notch. On the camera side, Hot 10 includes sports a 16MP quad rear cameras with an LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone gets assisted by an Helio G70 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Infinix Hot 10 is backed by a big 5,200mAh battery and is available in three different colors Obsidian Black, Amber Red, Moonlight Jade, Ocean Wave.
Design
Infinix Hot 10 has a solid built with a polycarbonate back panel along with plastic frames on the sides. The phone stands at a height of 171mm and has an 8.8mm thick body. The phone is slightly heavier with a weight of 195grams which may feel a bit heavy if one holds it for a long time. Biometrics features included is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and face unlocks. The volume rockers and the power key is placed on the right side of the phone. Also, a headphone lies at the bottom.
Display
Infinix Hot 10 includes a long 6.7-inch color IPS LCD display with a punch-hole notch. The multitouch display comes with a screen resolution of 720x1640px at a pixel density of 320PPI. Based on these configurations, the display is expected to produce detailed and sharp visuals. The screen has fewer bezels around which results in a 91% of screen to body ratio. The aspect ratio of the phone is 20:9 which is suitable for entertainment and other counterparts.
Camera
Hot 10 comes with a setup of 16MP quad-rear cameras with a Quad-LED flash. The primary 16MP camera with f/1.8 is followed by two 2MP’s of a macro camera and a depth sensor and an AI camera lens completes the setup. You may capture decent shots using the cameras. Also, the camera app has features such as Auto Scene Detection, Custom Bokeh, AI HDR, AI 3D Beauty, Panorama, AR Animoji, AI 3D Body Shaping all of these features are there to better the camera performance. The phone records FHD 1080p videos @30 fps. As far as the selfies are concerned, there’s an 8MP camera inside the punch hole.
Performance
Infinix Hot 10 runs on the Android 10 operating system out of the box. The phone gets assisted by an entry-level MediaTek HelioG70 chipset with quad-core processors. For the background performance, the phone has 6GB of RAM whereas ARM Mali-G52 GPU handles the graphic needs for the demanding apps and games. The configurations look average but within the price tag, it is reasonable. User-friendly sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyro, Ambient light, E-compass, and Proximity sensors are present. Hot 10 comes with 128GB of internal storage capacity.
Battery
Infinix Hot 10 is backed by a big 5,200mAh Li-Po battery underneath. The battery size is ample and based on that a full day of power backup is expected.
