Hyundai Alcazar 2021
The Hyundai Alcazar has been launched in India. The Creta-based SUV is available in six-seat and seven-seat configurations across three variants that include Prestige, Platinum, and Signature.
Design
The new Hyundai Alcazar is offered in eight colours that include Phantom Black, Polar White, Starry Night, Taiga Brown, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Polar White with Black Phantom roof, and Titan Grey with Phantom Black roof. On the outside, the model receives LED headlamps with LED DRLs, a chrome studded front grille, contrast coloured skid plates, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, body coloured ORVMs, and LED tail lights.
Performance
The Hyundai Alcazar comes equipped with two powertrains: 159PS/191Nm 2.0-litre petrol and 115PS/250Nm 1.5-litre diesel units. Both engines drive the front wheels and can be specced with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. Hyundai claims an efficiency of 14.5kmpl (manual) and 14.2kmpl (automatic) on the petrol engine and 20.4kmpl (manual) and 18.1kmpl (automatic) on the diesel engines. In terms of dimensions, the Alcazar is 4,500mm long, 1,790mm wide, and 1,675mm tall. It has a 2,760mm wheelbase, which is one of the longest in its segment.
Features
The Hyundai Alcazar packs feature like a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display(first-in-segment), a 10.25-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, BlueLink connected car tech, a Bose sound system, connected car tech, wireless charging, cruise control, drive and traction modes, 64-colour ambient lighting, a panoramic sunroof, and ventilated front seats. Safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring, a 360-degree parking camera with front and rear parking sensors as well as a Blind spot monitor.
