Green vegetable smoothie recipe
A thickie is just a heartier version of a smoothie, so it makes a great breakfast choice. This one is loaded with spinach, kale, banana and rolled oats.
Ingredients
- a large handful spinach
- a large handful kale
- 1 large banana
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup
- (or other plant milk) 150ml, plus a little extra oat milk
- 3 tbsp rolled oats
- 1 tbsp flax seeds
- to serve ice
How to
Put all of the ingredients except the ice into a blender or food processor and whizz until smooth, adding a little extra oat milk if it’s too thick to drink. Pour the thickie into two glasses with ice and drink straight away.
