All new Yamaha FZ-X
The All New Yamaha FZ-X comes to India as a crossover motorcycle that is inspired by Neo-Retro design thinking. Design
The FZ-X sports a neo-retro design. You get a round LED headlight with DRLs. Contrasting the paint scheme you get blacked-out components, such as the engine, fenders, and black alloys with highlights. The FZ-X sports an offset fuel tank cap and a tuck-and-roll single-piece seat with upright handlebars for added comfort.
Performance
The FZ-X is powered by an FZ-S sourced 149cc fuel-injected air-cooled engine that pumps out 12.4PS and 13.3Nm, mated to a 5-speed transmission. It’s nestled in a single-cradle chassis. Suspension duties are handled by a gaitered telescopic fork and a 7-step adjustable monoshock. Braking hardware comprises a 282mm front disc with ABS and a 220mm rear disc. The FZ-X rolls on 17-inch alloys wrapped in block-pattern tubeless tyres.
Features
The FZ-X’s full-LCD instrument cluster is compatible with the Yamaha Y-Connect app. It gives access to SMS alerts, mileage details, last parked location, and malfunction alert. Other notable features include a USB charging port and a side-stand engine cut-off switch. Yamaha also offers LED indicators, engine guard, seat cover, tank grips, and chromed-out rearview mirrors as optional accessories.
