2020 Bajaj Dominar 400 BS6 review
The Bajaj Dominar 400 offers the best value proposition at its price point, but improvements can always be made to a product. Keeping that in mind, Bajaj had gone ahead while updating the Dominar which had received a host of upgrades in 2019. The motorcycle continued with the same design but received a few subtle updates in 2019 which give it a fresh appeal. It is available with the choice of two colour schemes- Aurora Green and Vine Black.
Design
The Dominar labels itself as a hyper-tourer, so even though it is a naked, it isn’t as small and sharp as your average streetfighter. It sports a slightly raked-out look and the defining feature is its fascia characterised by the sharp LED headlight. The design features some heft and bulk in the fuel tank region and the double-barrel exhaust exits look quite cool as well.
Features
The Dominar 400 sports an LED headlight and turn indicators. Instrumentation is fully-digital and consists of a twin-display setup. A beefy 43mm USD fork is offered up front and the rear monoshock is preload-adjustable. Safety net is provided by dual-channel ABS and it also features a slipper clutch.
Performance
The 2020 Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a BS6-compliant 373.2cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, four-stroke, DOHC, four-valve, triple spark, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine. This motor churns out a healthy 40 PS of power at 8800 RPM and 35 Nm of peak torque at 6500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Bajaj Dominar 400 Price: The new Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be priced between Rs 1,91,751- 2,33,800 lakh
